No way man! A) he wouldn't have because B) that would have messed up the whole prophesy. It was all planned beforehand. It had to go down that way because that is the way God said.

This is not a simple question to get an answer. Y? How does one know how Jesus look like? If a guy come straight forward to you and say "I am Jesus and you must do blah..blah..blah.
Will you be shock or your mind may tell you "Crazy guy..better move away"
Or like what you have said "I'm a Jesus Freak"..you will ask Jesus so many questions that that will freak out anyone.

I'm not a Jesus freak and I tell the world all the time!! I wouldn't die for anyone, except to save my kid or mother. If Jesus told me to die for him I'd tell him to go to hell.

It's natural for one to say that they would without a doubt do it, especially after what he did for us but really think about what Christ endured... Getting smacked, punched, spit on, whipped with pieces of bone on the edge of the whip; so not only was he getting whipped but the bone particles and thorns were lifting pieces of his flesh with each lash... to then get nailed to a torture stake where your body weight is being held up by those nails alone and die a slow death... Come on now... that is alot.... and we live in a world where if someone breathes or touches us on the street or subway; we are ready to wild out... I could honestly say that every part of me would want to die for him but would i be strong enough? Only God knows...

Why would he of done that? He died as a living sacrifice for us, my blood would be nothing for anyone cause before him I was a gentile. But I have died for him now, I died to my old self and have a new life in him. I'm a Jesus freak! I love my savior!

the ramifications of that question are deep and multifaceted. would you lay down ur life to save a fellow Christian? this would please God...that kind of love. Jesus wouldnt ask you to die for Him, and fear overtook even Peter at the crucial moment....i like to think that i would have handled things differently...

Jesus is not asking us to die for Him, be crucified like Him. He asks us to live for Him. To give my life to Him might get myself killed one day, and as long as I live I will serve the Lord...even if it would get me killed.

Unfortuantley I don't think I could go through everything He did. That is why He is MY Savior and I'm not His. Second He would never ask me to do that because He loves us all too much.

Is that not what He teaches us to do? Yes, of course, without hesitation.
