Islam, the self proclaimed “religion” of peace and love cannot stop killing its own people in the name of Islam and Allah. Islam is a religion that proclaims murder is wrong, and the killing of a fellow Muslim absolutely forbidden. Despite that, Muslims seem to have no problem killing a fellow Muslim if it is convenient or will lead to one sect having more power than another.

A cult is an erroneous offshoot of a religion, like the JW's or Mormons. They are offshoots of Christianity. They may be mistaken, but they are still within Christiandom.

Islam is an independent religion altogether, not an offshoot of anything. It's not a sect, it's its own religion. It has its own Messenger, calendar, scripture, holy days, traditions, different worship day, etc.

And for cryin' out loud, it's the terrorist EXTREMISTS who do what they do, and not the majority. There are about a billion Muslims in the world, yet only a few thousand Muslim terrorists. For the upteenth time, stop depending on the media to define Muslims!

Would you post stuff saying that all Blacks in America are gangstas and hookers? That all White people are hillbillies and uneducated bigots? Would you say that all the Beaner men are gang members, and us Beaner women are loose? Of course not. Sure, this is true for some, but it's totally unfair to label the majority of these groups by the bad apples who make the news.

SAME WITH MUSLIMS. GET IT ALREADY.

I wouldnt lay that claim at the feet of only Islam. Look at Christianity and how many times they've killed and otherwise abused their fellow Christians. Its what the entire conflict between Northern Ireland and Ireland is based on. Look at what the Crusaders did to Byzantium.

A "cult" is different than a religion1 in alot of ways. A cult's major difference from religion is that is its size, who it allows as members and whether they are considered to be "dangerous." If Islam is a cult, then so would Christianity.

Adgenda. Islam doesn't order you to take verbal rules from a mortal master. All 'cults' have a human leader who is alive and supreme. That's why they often end in suicide when things go wrong.

Christianity is no better.
Matthew 7:1 says judge not lest ye be judged, and yet we have thousands of Christians vehemently protesting gay marriage and percecuting others daily.

The bible orders us not to murder/kill, and yet capital punishment is legal in all but 17 states.

Your question is irrelevant to your point.
A cult is a religion with a very small following - like Jesus when he first recruited apostles. A religion is just bigger in number.

Islam APPROVES of killing other Islamics under very specific circumstances. Sadly...... they're looking for an excuse.

i dont believe in religion but i still feel im alot smarter than to judge one muslim by anothers actions thats called racism. you should check out some of the other religious wars though out history not just islam and you see all the hypocrisy and ignorance in them also. (this was really a stupid question that sounded smart, get with it buddy).

A cult is just a smaller version of something...like the christian religion for example...when it first started, there were not too many parishioners...that was a cult...it then spread (unfortunately) to the rest of the world

Islam is too big to be considered a cult. That's it, the only difference.

Are you really an ex-muslim or just someone who wants to turn people against islam?

I'm asking a serious question here. I'd really like to know.

Every religion is a cult. A cult has a leader and followers.
