My spiritual journey actually began when I was born..but I was never really actually aware of it's beginning until 1997 when I was taking care of my Mother who came down with Alzheimers after my Daddy's death in 1994.I had hit rock bottem emotionally with trying to take care of her..and she was getting progressively worse..and having a middle daughter who was giving me so much attitude. I sat down in the middle of my driveway at 3:00 in the morning and broke down and admitted that I was making a mess of things and needed help.Since then I have known in which direction I must go,and whose the only one who can guide me.I still try to do it on my own sometimes because I'm so human..but it doesn't take me long to realize what I'm doing.

I have been on my spiritual journey my whole existence. When I was aware it had already begun, was when I became an Atheist. Seven years I spent without a light for my path, only my third chakra to lead me. Four years later, I am now Wiccan, and Mother Mary always did work for me.... Brought up Catholic. So I have come full circle. All in 23 years. Still journeying. Buddhism intrigues me, it really all is Zen, when you look at it. Blessed Be.

seemingly forever. i was aware of it when I was about 7/8, at least I was aware of my giftings. My journey has lead me all over and from rock bottom to where I am now. I am still learning more each day and submitting myself to God. There is true peace in Him and knowing Him, I am most greatful for that part of my journey. I am looking forward to His next steps with great anticipation. God Bless.

I would say about ten years. It was in my teenage years that I began to realize that I did not truly believe Christianity to be completely true. Now I feel that spirituality is much more important than following any specific dogma.
