When I used Priceline I had them within 20 minutes.

Usually 20-30 minutes.

With Priceline, you get NO control on when you fly (it will be the day you specify, but it could be 5 AM or 9 PM). The same is true for the return flight.

You CANNOT change your itinerary.

Also, if there is an oversold situation on the flight, you are the first one bumped, and last one honored in a standby situation.

It IS a cheaper way to travel (especially last-minute), but it comes with some strings attached.

I don't use Priceline for Air travel - but I do for car rentals and hotels and have been pleased.

it's a couple of minutes if your price is in the same range as on other cheap flight websites, but can take a long time if you made the mistake of trying to get a better price then elsewhere.
Do yourself a favour and book your flight where you control the departure time. If you book priceline to go on a 4-day trip, you might end up having only 2 vacation days, because they sell you the weirdest (less in demand) times

Dunno, but I was warned by a friend a month ago that they are crap, and that the tickets are unchangeable and unrefundable.
