ok, so I have naturally semi-black hair and never colored my hair, I'm thinking of coloring my hair jet-black (totally black) and then brunette. But, my mom said that dying hair totally black causes hair to turn grey, was she right or not??

I have naturally dark brown hair, and I've died my hair jet-black twice and it's never gone wrong. Honestly, I don't think that's possible. Good Luck!

it may make you look such as you've pretend black hair. try a diffused colour of brown or red, and your eye colour will pop, yet you received't look too "Goth" and freakish. Black is a lot too darkish on your organic epidermis and eye coloring. There are spray on/ wash off hair colors you are able to get on the wonder grant shop that you'll be able to try on with out dedication. you are able to also get a colour consultation at a salon by skill of a stylist who's conscious about colour.

no it's just harder to change the color after to dye it black. but why would you turn your hair black and then brunette? that doesn't make sense. Dye it the darkest brown you can find.
