Do you believe it is possible to save our Mother Earth, if only humans could understand that hatred is part of our animal selves, and not our soul-selves? Do you believe that on the world scale, that all this religious hatred is poisoning our planet? And how many of you will try to be more mindful, to stop hatred, if it meant saving humanity, and making life on Earth better?

Yes ! I think you are right on the money!
I saw a sign outside an Anglican church the other day that was also spot on, it said
"You know that thing I said about Love Thy Neighbor.....
I MEANT IT ! "
GOD

But there is also another influence that we don't see that promotes and forwards religious hatred , and this "animal" response that it not native to our true selves.

Consider this:

A society is capable of surviving for thousands of years unless it is attacked from within or without by hostile forces. Where such an attack occurs, the primary targets are it's religious and national gods and heroes, it's potential of leadership and the self respect and integrity of it's members.
If you look around you , you will find countless examples of these points. They scream at us every day from the newspapers and TV.
Probably the most critical point of attack on a culture is it's religious experience. Where one can destroy or undermine religious institutions then the entire fabiric of the society can be quickly subverted or brought to ruin.
For the last hundred years or so religion has been beset with relentless attack. You have been told it’s the “opiate of the masses “, that it’s unscientific, that it is primitive, in short , that it is a delusion.
The source of this kind of attack is always covert and hidden. It is promoted by a few who have a vested interest in a slave society.
Unfortunately these few rely on creating fear and insecurity in others to forward and promote their enemy propaganda. These others feel correctly they have to defend themselves from an attack, but because the real enemy is hidden, they can be manipulated to attack what they really should be defending as they cannot see the real enemy.

The key here is that underneath all these attacks on organised religion there is one fundemental target:
The spirituality of man, your own basic spiritual nature, self respect and peace of mind.

superb question. i'm seventy 4 in 16 days so i'm excellent bang up there interior the 'should not be round in 50 years' mob. Now, in my opinion i do not care if the human race is black, white, completely integrated, red or the different concern. All i'd wish for is they arrive at a aspect the position there is time-honored prosperity, no warfare, commonly sturdy well-being, happiness and protection. as a lot as now mankind has more often than not fouled up on all 4 of my hopes! We did not learn from previous blunders, did we?

It;s going to take an understanding and group effort. It is easy to see the masses are confused and are the ones who will try are killed, discredited, or publicly scorned if we try to start a community with this understanding. It has forced many to go into hiding. If people really knew where there energy was going would they still work, or buy a new car, or stay in the same careers? Not likely. But those who need your energy to make their dreams come true need you to be a slave of the mind. Their money is obligation and that is their power. Now, we can all see and have imagined what this city would be like but we have not talked to each other for their contributions.

Mother Earth will survive all we can throw at it. The human race may be gone, but the Earth will survive. It has taken much bigger shots than what puny man has thrown at it. Ice ages, killer asteroids and the like have not kept life down and neither will man. Now, when the Sun dies out - that's a whole other story.

Unfortunately, people are very narrow minded and don't care about the negative consequences of their actions...Wars have been fought for centuries over silly things like "my god is better than your god" crap.

It will not stop until all of humanity is dead.

Our planet is dying, without a doubt...one doesn't need a scientist or a god to figure that out.

Removing hatred won't save the earth. Being environmentally aware will.

Simple, have a worldwide ban on religion. Make religion illegal, force everyone to respect each other as individuals and respect each other differences.

Religion does not tolerate differences because all have their own crazy ideas about what they do is what their "GOD" wants them to do. Even their judgemental ways. There's no way having different religion in this world is going create world peace ever.

The difference between religion and race also is that you can't choose your race, so it's not your fault for being different, but everyone can choose their religion, (with exception of poor muslims of course, they are forced to be muslims, it's illegal to not be muslim in muslim countries), so I think it is completely your fault if you chose to be religious and choose to follow a "holier than thou" way of life.

I do not worship Mother Earth but I do believe that it is a sin to destroy it and to not take care of it. I teach my sons that we are to care for this planet that we live on. I do not agree with you though that all religions are what are harming it. We all need to wake up and care for our earth.
