honestly i think thats his way of trying to get out of the relationship. Plus if you only has his work number something is a little strange...I would suggest moving on.

Maybe he is trying to tell you something, but on the other hand maybe he just needs to get a cell phone so he can stay in touch with you. If you don't hear from him within five days I would move on.

How long has it been since you last talked to him? You may want to wait for him to contact you now. Although you should have his home number or something.

This sounds to me like he's implying that he wants to end it maybe. He may have found another closer to home.
