there are more and more people that run out of benifits each month......
And what about the big corparations laying off thousand of people each month?

It is the trickle down effect. When big businesses and rich people have alot, the wealth always trickles down the economic ladder. Thats why after Bush gave the surplus back in 2001, the economy did so much better. Oh wait that never happend. Well thats why stock prices keep going up. Oh, that never happened either. Gee, I guess everything they do to the economy just makes it worse for everyone unless your rich. I guess we just need to all be rich. I'm sure it'll trickle down soon.

According to Republicans the economy is great. They live in a fantasy world. The reason small business can not stay open is simple, inflation. When your country has debt then inflation kicks in.
Same was true under Reagan. We had a 5 percent interest rate at the fed for the past 6 years, japan had Zero, Japan does not have our debt. We also have a $63.8 billion trade deficit and that means more debt each day we live under this Dictator in the White House. Clinton had a balanced budget all 8 years, he even paid on the debt twice. These are not Conservatives in power, the Neocons are in power in this Dictatorship.

Want to back up your statement that the economy is bad with some stats. Cause by pretty much all indicators, its doing pretty well. And many small businesses had to close because of Sarbanes Oxley, a bill that conservatives hate, yet the unemployment rate has dropped.

Poor management for the small businesses closing.
The economy isn't bad and I received a $10000 plus tax cut.
I have never made as much money.

The voting patterns of the Republicans appears to be towards eliminating the middle class and who represents the middle class to a great extent--small business..
This goes hand in hand with out sourcing of labor and the present illegal immigration problem that they refuse to resolve because they don't want to resolve it. The maintenance of the status quo sits well with Big Business.
As the poorer (read third ) class grows larger, the middle class grows weaker and therefore the wealthy ( first ) grows stronger.

I love reading republicans say the economy has gotten better. What they fail to mention is that they started at way below where the dems left off. Of course there will be several quarters of growth when you start out at the bottom.

Republicans really only do things for the benefit of big business and big government. The individual doesn't matter to them.

Why because you were Monica Lewinsky's pimp? 18 quarters of economic growth. 4.6% unemployment, lower than average of last 50 years.2.1 trillion last year in federal revenues. You should try actually reading, not just listening to Air America. Are they still around?
