God's existence?

the question is meant to say, "why do so many people view the argument between creation and evolution as the only thing that stands between the ability to prove or disprove god's existence? is it not possible that God exists and evolution took place?

Because Creationism is unwilling to accept anything other than "god made it that way and exactly that way" and deny all the evidence that shows otherwise.

It's been over 2000 years and so many people are still Believing in God. The word believe is a word of uncertainty. A belief is defined as a conviction to the truth of a proposition without its verification therefor making it a subjective mental interpretation of the perception. How many people truly KNOW God? And I don't mean just feelings that you get when reading about God. I mean common sense and reasoning and then let your feelings drive everything else. Many people say that they felt Gods presents and that is, to them, knowing God. But is it really? Then there's that word God. Then I ask what God do you mean. The word God is just a title like CEO, or MANAGER, or even SENATOR. The definition to all of these can be summed up by saying (someone that is, supposedly, more knowledgeable than most). In Hell, Satan is a God. In some households the man is God and the woman the Goddess, or at least they act like they are. what name does God have universally? Why haven't the world excepted one name. we give our children names. We give our pets names. what happened to giving a name to God that the whole world can agree on? The fact is is that many of us have, for centuries, been led astray. Modern science say that evolution is what happened and religion says that God is what happened, when in actuality both evolution means to evolve, while religion means repetition. earth and its inhabitence were created by a creator that has more knowledge than anyone on this planet. (In the beginning God created the heaven and earth) That would make God and its creation ALIEN. Anything not coming from earth is ALIEN.( spell check doesn't work) I'll stop here. I don't want to spell something wrong.....that would be misleading...LOL

Materialism or Scientism, which view the material or scientific world, respectively, as the only possible source of information, infect a great many people to one degree or another. These individuals believe that unless one has visual or "ocular" proof of anything, one must therefore discount, or at the very least, strongly weigh against, it's existence.

Well, the oldest question in world would be, "Where did we come from?" Right? Science has answered that question. Now the only question left is "Do you have a faith in a higher power?" I think that's an individual question only you can answer yourself know one else.

I think cause its easier for them to accept evolution then to accept that one greater than them could have started all this. Maybe its an ego thing
