I have severe upper stomach pain. I have been to the doctor and she has put me on some medicine to help with my nerves. I am only 24 years old but every morning i wake up with a severe stomach ache. When I get sick it is just white acid. I do not have an ulcer for sure. She gave me some morning sickness medicine that works in the afternoon but does not even begin to cut the pain in the mornings does anyone have any ideas. Also I have had diareah since this has started. Both doctor and myself seem to be out of answers. And work is getting frustrated. Thanks

Could they be gas pains? Try putting a warm compress or heating pad on low on your stomach for a few minutes and see if that helps.

As for the nausea - try keeping a couple of crackers next to your bedside and munch one or two before you move. Maybe you've got low blood sugar?

Hm... You may want to try to take stomach relaxers before you go to bed, and in the morning when the pain starts. If that kinda works, you may want to try not eating at least 4-5 hours before going to bed. It would also help to cut away from greasy foods, that contain acids that may cause you to toss this 'white acid' and have diareah.

It sounds like a gastrointestinal problem, or a sever bowel blockage. You say when you vomit it's just white acid. Next time you feel like you're going to be sick, find a container you can put a lid on and take some to the doc's, he may be able to test it. (I know it sounds gross but that may be the only way.
If you vomit frequently, you may have GERD. Ask the doc.
