From the time they can talk, young kids (both boys and girls) ask questions about everything around them. So, I'd say you can expect questions from anytime after 18 months old, depending on the child's language skills.

4th grade is a good time. I am 14 years old and that is when i went through those changes. But most kids know about sex and periods b4 then believe it or not. Word gets around these days

My daughter was 8 and she found out at school that it was French kissing naked, then said ewwwwwwwww
