Anything on Nick Jr. is excellent:
Backyardigans - It's good because it teaches your daughter about the imagination and how she can go anywhere or do anything with it. Plus, the songs are pretty excellent.
Go, Diego, Go - You learn Spanish and cool facts about various wild animals. It's like going to the zoo without paying the entrance fee.
LazyTown - yeah, it's a cool, vibrant show, but I can't help but think it's weird with those creepy looking puppets. But my 2-year-old niece loves the show, so it has it's moments.
Dora the Explorer - Do I even need to talk about this one? It's actually quite fun and it does teach children spanish. Plus, the adventures are fun. Sometimes, Dora speaks completely in Spanish, so that might be a little confusing. (While I don't speak fluently, I'm usually on hand to translate if things get to be a bit too much)
Nick Jr. cartoons are made especially for your little girl, and just about any Disney movie will suffice. I hope this helps.

My 2 year old loves to watch Dora the Explorer, The Backyardagains, Blues Clues, Go Diego Go, The Wonder Pets. These are all on Nick Jr. She has learned to count to 10 in English and to 5 in Spanish, she knows some colors, and her body parts. She can also answer the questions to finish the puzzle that Diego and Alicia ask about the animals they rescued.

My daughter is 2 1/2 and she likes Dora the Explorer (Nick Jr.), Strawberry Shortcake, JoJo's Circus (Disney Channel), Winnie the Pooh, Wonder Pets (Nick Jr.), Sesame Street (PBS), and Boz (recently released Christian DVDs). Some movies scare my daughter. When she watched Finding Nemo, she was afraid of the sharks so we'll probably hold off on those until she's older. I hope this helps.

My 2 year old daughter likes Teletubbies, Dora the Explorer, Sesame Street and Barney. She loves the characters and especially the music but doesn't have the attention span yet to sit and watch an entire episode. When I happen across it while flipping channels I'll turn it on for her but we're not rushing to the tv at 9am so we don't miss the baby sunrise on Teletubbies.

2 year-olds love Bob the Builder (yes, girls too!) Dora the Explorer, Thomas the Tank Engine. They seem to really enjoy disney movies, too, though the stories can be aimed at older kids a little bit.

Dora the Explorer - my daughter is 2 and she can't get enough it that show. There is a channel on DirectTv broadcasting called Babies First Learning Channel. Kids love it & its very educational. No commercials or anything unappropriate for children.
Once she gets older you can get her on the computer & go to starfall.com. It will help her with reading and phonics. There are lots of activities on there.
