Hi people, i have started this org, called teens 4 difference. It is an org of teens, as the name denotes, um... u see, i want some practical steps for the community and environmental services that we're aiming at. I have no intentions of soliciting, but i really need some help now. Could u suggest some sites which could help in creating awareness through articles?

Coordinate with an existing non-profit org. For example, the HS KEY club is sponsored by the adult Kiwanis Club (though Kiwanis started it, not created by the kids). You may find an organization that has been wanting to branch out to the youth.

You can always go to Sierra Club's website, subscribe to their email list. You can also go to PIRG websites (EX: in Connecticut there is CONNPIRG). Go to EPA website or UN environmental website. Register with these sites, get info from them and perhaps you will find ways of getting the word out. As with everything you do to get the reluctant to pay attention, you must be tactful and not overly pushy.

The first thing you do is set down the aims/objective of your organisation. Then you look for a way of achieving it.
