Not just the regular "Weird" ones but the REALLY "Weird" ones LOL
There is no set "Denomination" for snake handlin' in church.

A lot of different denominations USE to handle snakes, it is not unheard of now, but it is pretty well passed as a practice. Holy Rollers they called these people too as they would get filled w/Spirit and roll on floor.
I saw this in my youth. Mountain people are very good about going to extremes in religion which is not all bad. They just take God at His word.
"They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover." Mark 16:18 KJV...Christ's commission to the eleven.

I believe it's Voudon. (Voodoo...) I THINK they have a Snake Priestess, and she's the one who does the actual handling. Personally, I'm somewhere between Wicca and Christianity at this point in my spirituality, so I actively (and happily) claim Unitarian Universalism. And I believe I came across this info. in the realm of Voodoo or Houdon.

When I used to be Pentecostal, it was said that Pentecostals handled snakes. I had been to countless Pentecostal churches and I have yet to see any of them do that.
