Last PIC 16F34a question?

When I make the connections and program the pic to turn on ports for example (porta 0) I get negative (-) from the port and because I get negative I have to make my ground positive (+). Another strange thing is that when I set some pin (BSF) the led gets turned off. When I clear it (BCF) the led gets turned on. what is going on?

Check your ground connection. Sounds like floating ground.
