I recently found out that my great uncle invented the windshield wipers. I also learned that my great-great uncle was a famous bandleader in New York. Now I wonder what my other ancestors were up to.

I personally don't want to know. I have heard stories of things that I want no association with. Sad I know, but its the truth. I just focus on my family now.

But that is cool when you have some interesting people in your ancestry. Keep searching never know who you may find.

I spend a lot of time on ancestry.com trying to find out about my ancestors. It's very interesting what you can find out if you're patient and willing to do a little research.
