It is a 2 & 1/2 year old Doxen (weiner dog) and is very nice. Is there a place where I can go and post an add for free and know that it will go to a good home?

Well fist of all u should try talking 2 her and try 2 be more descriptive why are you giving it away? Is it cuz you r unable 2 care for and you don't have time or money to care for it? try to explain the reason why. If you finally decide to give it away try posting an add at your local vet clinic (ask permission first) or the internet or newspaper add. I'm sure somone around you would love to have a cute dog like yours. And if your worried about the home she is going 2 try asking if you could occasionaly check how the dog is doing. P.S. Good luck finding a good home for the dog

In my opinion it's always kind of sketchy putting up an add for a dog because you never really get to know the people unless you meet them first hand. Craigslist.com is a great pplace to post adds and get responses, but if I were you I would arange a "meeting" or something with the soon-to-be-owners to make sure they are suitble to take care of the dog. I would put an ad in the classifieds for your area, and visit the people's home before giving is to them. This way you can ensure they are friendly and have the space for a dog.

how is she going to be upset if she giving it away? she must do no wont the dog .do you need some help ,here it goes, teak the dog to a vet for adoption put a post up for the dog or teak him to a dogpoud tell the people you DO NOT wont to put the dog to sleep (BECAUSE THEY WILL DO THAT) in also put a poster up for him. if not give him ti a frined that she knows.

You can put a classified ad on www.petfinder.com for free, but no picture. Or post one at the vets office.

If you want to ensure a good home, and you don't want payment for it. Give it to a rescue. They will find a good home for her.

it's her weiner so you have to let her do what she wants but if you have your own weiner you can have fun with that.
