There are over 6,000,000,000 people on this crazy planet.

Half of them are female. Just because one of them doesn't fancy you means you only have to check the rest.

You seem to be able to communicate your feelings. That is an important social skill lots of people DON'T have and something the right kind of women value.

As recommended above, join clubs where you can become comfortable being around people and where you are more likely to come across interesting females. They don't usually come knocking to your house door (I've waited. They don't. I've gone out looking for them. I've found some.)

Read good books that develop your mind, your language (doesn't look like you need much there) and give you interesting things to talk about.

Drag your mind out of dark pools. I've swum in them and they're nasty. Life is surprisingly worth enjoying so enjoy it!

Where does your lack of social skills bother you the most? We all want to be liked - try being friendly without being needy. Politeness and an interest in other people will get you through most areas in life. Otherwise, ask a close family member for help.

I find that reflecting information back by asking questions about something someone just said or repeating a comment they just made so as to agree helps me get through difficult social situations. You have to remember that it is a skill and as with all skills, practice makes perfect!

See your physician and ask for a referral for depression. Once you are seeing a psychologist, and your mood has improved, ask for help developing a plan for better social interaction.
You may be an introvert, in which case it is unreasonable to compare yourself to a outgoing person. All the same, introverts have social needs and can develop comfortable relationships. Good Luck.

Practise listening to people, it's the greatest skill of all and people always like you for it. Speak only if you think you have something true or kind to say. Don't pick your nose or fart around people and read books and newspapers so you have something to talk about. If you get nervous or unhappy try Rescue Remedy from health food shops and chemists. Good luck!

think of the things that interest you most. look for ways of mixing with people with similar interests. stop worrying about trying to conform to what others expect and start concentrating on making yourself happy. you will find that when you are relaxed and comfortable with yourself and surrounded by others who have similar likes and dislikes as you that your social skills will come along just fine. take it from one who knows!!
