Hot sauce, honey, crushed red pepper, ketchup and just a small dash of liquid smoke.
Start with the ketchup and mix everything else in until it tastes good and balanced. Do not use too much liquid smoke. Actually you could probably not even use it. It's up to you.
This is best if you are grilling your wings. Cook the wings, cover them with sauce, put them back on the grill to let the sauce caramelize.

HEAVENLY WINGS
1 & 1/2 lbs. chicken wings
1 cup soy sauce
2 tsps. sugar
1/4 cup white wine
2 cloves garlic, mashed
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Wash wings and pat dry. Combine all ingredients above for the sauce. Spread wings in a shallow baking pan; do not overlap wings. Pour sauce over wings; marinate overnight in the fridge. Bake in marinade for 1 & 1/2 hours.
These are sweet but not too spicy; hope you enjoy them!

follow the recipes on the frank's hot sauce bottle except cut the amount of hot sauce in half and replace the amount with "sweet baby ray's" barbecue sauce! stir well. then heat for about 1 minute then pour the sauce over your COOKED wings. seal tightly with heavy aluminum foil but don't let the foil lay tightly on the wings. then shake your pan to coat all your wings. keep closed tightly for 15 minutes. do not open!

Melt butter in a pan, then add your favorite hot sauce. I add Cheyenne pepper to make it hotter, otherwise I just use red hot brand hot sauce or any other brand.
I believe Dinosaur brand comes in different levels of spiciness.

Honey Lime Chicken Wings: I make them when I want something different than the typical hot wing.
18 whole chicken wings, split
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1 tablespoon grated lime zest
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 quarts vegetable oil for frying
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
DIRECTIONS:
In a large bowl, mix together the honey, lime juice, lime peel, garlic, salt and ground black pepper.
Place the flour in a plastic bag and shake the chicken wings in the flour to coat.
In a large skillet, fry the chicken wings in hot, 1 inch deep oil until cooked through. Place the cooked wings in the honey/lime mixture and toss to coat well. Serve immediately.
