From my experience, high wasn't all that hard like the teachers try to make it out to be. If you are focus on your academics and can balance that out with extracurricular activities then you are set. Don't try to over do it. Focus on your grades first then think about the rest.

It depends on if you're talking about classes being harder or more challenging...or if you're talking about it being emotionally or socially more difficult. Emotionally, mentally, socially, I think high school is definitely easier than jr. high. I know few people if any who had a good jr. high experience....but high school will continue to be challenging academically. But not in an overwhelming way, each class--each grade--prepares you for the next one.

ehh the classes in high school are harder and you can't goof off like you can in jr. high...you actually hafta mature up..ALOT!!...but for me high school was way better then jr. high...you have more freedom..people treat you as an adult and not some dumb jr. higher..but there are some bad things that go along with that to because if you aren't serious in highschool well and don't try to pass your classes..there basically goes your future...but high school is way more fun..but not fun enough to do it over again.

How 'hard' high school will be depends on how well you prepare in junior high school. The harder you work now the easier the next step will be.

It all depends on what classes you plan to take and how many clubs/organizations you plan to join.
And I think it also depends on the individual's ability to manage his/her time well.
But I just graduated High School (Class of 2006) and I'd say High School was a bit easier even though the course was a bit challenging. I know this doesn't make much sense but that's how it was for me.
My sophomore year (10th grade) was the HARDEST year ever.
You don't do jack **** in your senior year (12th grade).
Good luck to you with High School.

everyone has a different definition of hard and some of these people who tell u it's easier to them it may be but to you mabey it's going to be harder....all i have to say is just go into high school open minded and attempt to focus on ur studies first before any sociality okay ....??? I'm sure you will do fine, just don't follow okay and stay on track !

i found high school socially and intellectually easier. it was easier for me to hang out with my friends and use the knowledge i had acquired from jr high and just build knowledge on top of that previously gained. i guess that was my pay off for applying myself all through elementary school. college was interestingly challenging. not too much just enough though
