Studies have shown that a child raised in an environment with two gay parents has no increased chance of being gay. Also, they have shown that being gay is not genetically transferred.

A recent study, interestingly enough, DID show a link where a younger son of parents has a higher probability of being gay than an older or middle son.

From an environmental perspective, it seems that a family with a very strong woman figure, and a very weak father figure (or non at all) have a higher incidence of bisexuality and being gay or lesbian.

No. Why do u have a GF if you are GAY though!! You NEED to break up with the GF (but still see and support your baby)!!!!!!! That is NOT fair to your GF if she is with a 100% gay man. SHe deserves to have a straight guy to be with her that way!

Not at all. People can argue this point until they are blue in the face, but I think you are born the way you are. It doesn't matter how many gay people you surround children with, they will be who they were meant to be, regardless.

NO - I mean you're gay, you tell me; Is being gay an option or is it a predetermined factor?

From my understanding, it's not hereditary, so don't worry about it. She'll have the same odds you did.

Your child will have the benefit of being open minded.

Not really, It's up to her how she feels about men or women when she grows up. She won't be gay just because you are.

I don't think "gay" is like the common cold. You can't catch it through the air.
