I try to live by the fruit of the spirit. But, it takes constant prayer and faith. I lived by the works of the flesh for years and it didn't get me very far. But thanks to Jesus, I'm on my way to a better and more fulfilling life!!!

I attempt to live by the Spirit but as a human it's impossible... like Paul says :"I do what I do not want to do"... all I can do is have faith that God will help in times of temptation and lead me in the right direction... if I should fail, then I know I must ask for forgiveness... however, feeling constantly guilty about sins will only make me commit those sins more... i think it's more important that we consider our reactions to those sins.

Both. After all they are ALL parts of the human psyche. To deny half of what makes one human is very destructive.
Sure, reign in those aspects that are less pleasant, but deny them? Never.
