This one is kinda fun but easy to do.
Take about 7 cups or so of fresh cut green beans and mix with Celery salt. Just a dash but not more then that. Mix by hand.
Set aside.
Then get out a frying pan and put in 2 to 3 table spoons of butter and let melt on low heat. While that is melting get a onion and chop up fine to medium. Enough for about 1 cup and mix a 1/4 cup of brown sugar with them and just a dash of Louisiana hot sauce.
Ad the brown sugar mixture to the butter and add the green beans. And Saute for about 30 minutes on low heat. You will see them caramelize. And they taste out of this world.

-Cleaned and trimmed green beans
-1/2 cup water, may need a little more if it boils out too fast
-juice from 1/2 lemon
-zest from 1/2 lemon
-1 clove garlic, minced
-1 Tsp. Rosemary
-salt and pepper to taste
-Toasted almond slices
Add the first seven ingredients in a saute pan on med- med high heat. Let water on the bottom of pan begin to boil and then turn down to med heat and cover. Allow to cook for 7-10 minutes, depending on how cooked you prefer, mix occasionally to make sure that there is still a little liquid in the bottom of the pan. You do not want the beans to brown, just cook. Once the beans are done, mix in toasted almond slices to add a little extra crunch. These are great Green beans, and I could eat them any time!

Easy and Yummy! Steam them (either on the stove or microwave) and drizzle with a little olive oil, fresh lemon and fresh garlic. This works with asparagus and spinach as well.
