Consider what happened to Adam at his death.When Adam sinned,God told him "You will return to the ground,for out of it you were taken.For dust you are,and to dust you will return."(Gen.3:19)Think of what that means.Before God created him from the dust,Adam did not exist.After his death,Adam returned to the same state of nonexistence.
Simply stated,the Bible teaches that death is the opposite of life.At Eccl.9:5,we read:"The living are conscious that they will die,but as for the dead they are conscious of nothing at all."This means the dead are unable to do or feel anything.They no longer have thoughts,nor do they remember anything.The psalmist states:"Do not put your trust in nobles or inthe son of earthling man to whom no salvation belongs.His spirit goes out,he goes back to his ground;in that day his thoughts do perish"-Ps.146:3,4
The Bible clearly shows that at death the sould does not move onto another body,but it dies."The soul that is sinning-it itself will die"the Bible emphatically states(Ezk18:4,20;Acts3:23;
Rev.16:3)Therefore the doctrine of the immortality of the soul - the very foundation of the theory of reincarnation-does not find any support in the Scriptures.
The original language terms (Heb.,nephesh Gr.,psykhe) as used in the Scriptures show "soul" to be a person,an animal or the life that a person or animal enjoys.

Many believe the soul goes to a heaven. Nobody has the right answer, it's up to what you believe.

The words translated soul in the Bible are ne'phesh(Hebrew) and psy-khe'(Greek) refer to the entire being not an invisible spirit. So soul refers to the whole person. And the Bible states the soul that is sinning, it itself will die. The state of one being dead is non-existence.

Depends on your religion, for some you go to heaven or hell and for others you simply go to an afterlife with everyone where you can reincarnate or not. So bottom line, it all depends on who you are and what you've been taught all your life.

Maid, arise. Luke 8:55 And her spirit came again,

and thou renewest the face of the earth.

saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true,
dost thou not judge and avenge our blood
on them that dwell on the earth?
Rev.6:11 And white robes were given unto every one of them;
and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for
a little season, until their fellowservants also and their
brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be
fulfilled. John 6:39,40,44[raised up at last day];

Souls are created as Adam and Eve.
Souls are now born in sin because of these.
