NO I have never been there...
But find some information about Romania...
Romania (Romanian: România /ro'mɨ.ni.ja/) is a country in Southeastern Europe. It is bordered by Hungary and Serbia in the west and Bulgaria to the south along the Danube River, Ukraine and Moldova in the northeast. Romania has also a stretch of sea coast on the Black Sea and the eastern and southern Carpathian mountains run through its centre. Historic Bucharest (Romanian: Bucureşti /bu.ku'reʃtʲ/), a major tourist attraction, is its capital and largest city. Romania has been an active member of NATO since 2004, and is also an acceding country to the European Union. The EU Accession Treaty was signed in early 2005, and Romania is due to join the European Union on January 1, 2007. Starting from January 1, 2007, Romania will have the seventh largest population in the EU.

Yes, and I actually lived there for most of my life. It's a very beautiful country and it offers some unique things that no other country offers. It has some amazing sceneries. I actually climbed to the top of the mountains of Fagaras to pick rhododendrons (they make a very delicious tea, besides being beautiful). There's a lot of historic places to see, such as Castles (Bran, Peles, Pelisor), and there's old cities, such as Brasov. If you go to the center of Brasov, it is amazingly beautiful. There's a festivel held there every year (Cerbul De Aur), and there's pigeons always around there, coming to eat from your hands. Anyway, Romania is an extraordinary country, from my point of view.
