My husband had the same problem, but please don't use E45 cream until you have spoken to your Doctor, husband used it and made his eye worse

bathe your eye in cooled boiled water with a cotton wool ball and then dab dry. use an un purfumed moisturiser or something like e45 cream but don't use too much if the symptoms persist consult your gp and they may prescribed a mild steroid cream.... it could be made worse by the hot weather

I am an alternative medicinal therapist and an ex nurse. If you have conjunctivitis then this ointment will not be of any help. You need chloramphenicol, it's an antibiotic and only your Dr can give it to you.Or you may have an allergy.

sounds like eczema, try E45, thats not too harsh on the eye area
