She want's to save money by cutting my hair rather than sending me to the barber. But she scares me when she cuts hair (can't make it look good!) Why can't she just admit she can't cut hair well and how do I get her convinced we should just go to the barber?

Whose hair is it? Grow some balls and tell her to lay off the head. How could you even let her near your head if she couldn't cut hair. Don't be a fool. She doesn't need to admit anything. YOU need to cut the crap and tell her she's retiring from the do it yourself beauty salon business and you're going to go to a barber before you lose an ear.

hair is tough to cut. I let my wife cut my hair, true the first 4 times that she did it that it was bad, but since then it's better than what the barbers can do.

Just tell her that you want to go to the barber because you like the way it looks better. Just be honest. If it hurts her feelings, appologize. If she really just says she wants to save money tell her you'll work it off by mowing the lawn or something...

I don't let no body cut my hair. If its that bad you can shave your head and let it grow back natural i know if my hair was supposed to be a certain length it would stop growing when it got there i guess it has not got there yet. Good luck man.

I would be straight up with her and tell her that you would prefer a professional to cut your hair. Or you can put her in the same boat as you and cut HER hair. Or even think outside the box, like if she gets a fender bender and "attempt" to fix it.

My wife did the same thing. I couldn't feel my legs after two hours in a kitchen chair...
I let her practice...because hair grows...no big deal to me.
She's great at it now and goes really fast.
Plus I get to tell all the guys I sleep with my hair dresser...

just tell her that you don't want to hurt her feleings but you'd feel more comfortable if you could go to the barber and get it done
