I'm not Christian, but I admit to being judgemental. When I first meet a person, I create all of these judgements based on stereotypes I've heard or seen. However, I do not let these judgements affect how I treat the person. Usually, I find later that I was completely wrong, so I change my view of them. It's not about whether you are judgemental, it's how you treat other people, REGARDLESS of your judgements and stereotypes.

As a christian I can say its not my job to judge anyone. On a personal level, I have a hard time with it in certain situations. I have a hard time not judging child molesters, rapists and serial killers. I try not to, I know we're suppose to love them, but what we're suppose to do and what we really feel is two different things. We all have some things that are hard for us to deal with, and that would be my biggest failing. Love the sinner, hate the sin is great, but when it comes to those specific sins, I have a real hard time with the love part.

"judge not lest ye be judged yourself" & "let them that is without sin cast the first stone"
and nope its not impossible....just improbable....and no i dont judge people....i dont understand why people do the things they do but thats not judgement....live and let live....harm no one...and im not perfect (damn close though...lol) but the day i am then oh boy im gonna be judging left right and center
there is no such thing as a 'true christian' though thats a lie in itself as exalting oneself by awarding such a label is intself wrong and bordering on the old definition of blasphemy..
and christian is such a broad term anyway that covers multiple denominations ~ im suprised the differing christian branches havent kicked off a crusade against each other
oh and im Catholic ~ just for the record ;)

You have to define the word 'judge'.
Everyone forms first impressions about people. We give messages by our choice of language, dress, and behavior.
We choose how we present ourselves.
Of course everyone categorizes people.
We categorize people every day. For instance, we determine who we think we would like to hang out with based on interests and common ground.
When someone talks about 'judging' they usually mean that if that person needed help they would not withhold it. They would not 'judge' them as unworthy of recieving assistance. If they are very different from them it would not matter. They would still willingly give them aid and help them-treat them as they would like to be treated.
Two people's interests and lives may be very different, but that gets pushed aside when there needs to be a connection on a basic, human level. And that is where one does not judge another.

Everyone judges. The key to being 'nonjudgmental' is allowing your judgment to change with new information about a person. And taking your own judgments with a 'grain of salt', admiting that you could be wrong 'cause you don't know what is in that person's thoughts and intentions.

Anyone who says they do not judge people is lying. We make judgements about people all the time! That's just nature!

Everyone judges people- but I don't stop being their friend if I don't like what they do. I don't tell them they are going to hell because of what they do. There is a difference.

How about I make every effort not to judge anybody? perhaps that would be more appropriate.
