Israel pulled out of Lebanon in 2002 I think. Since then they have not started fired any rounds into Lebanon that I can remember. And Israel we pulling out of the West Bank and Gaza.
Then these two groups of ID10Ts go and capture Israeli soldiers INSIDE Israel and kill a few more besides. What did they think Israel would do, take the whole thing to the UN? Need I remind you Israel is surrounded on three sides by Arab countries? Only Egypt recognises their right to exist.
Any time Israel takes a step toward peace some terrorist group wrongly claims it was because of their actions.
Get out there and pound the pavement screaming down with Hezbollah. And while you are at it you can scream down with Hamas. AND you can complain about Syria and Iran backing.
I've an idea. Why don't Hamas, Hezbollah, and all the rest shut up and sit down for a couple years and see how Israel acts. They just might find out Israel doesn't really want to be kicking Arab butts all the time.During that time why not try talking out your differences. Arabs you really don't want to fight them. Every time you do you get civilians killed and you get run out of Dodge.
This has been going on since 1948. Isn't that long enough? Admit it folks, Israel isn't going anywhere. Deal with it. Build a bridge and get over it.

I really do feel bad for the Lebanese people. They are caught in the middle. However, blame the UN for not enforcing the "resolution" past by the UN calling for the dismantiling of any forces other then the Lebanese army. The lebanese army should be in control of the southern section of Lebanon not a "terrorist group".

every country in the world thinks that the USA is the scum of the earth. they think that we are the reason for all the violence going on all around us. they believe that every bad thing originates in the USA. but when they need help, well thats a completely different story. they need our help, they want our money. they expect millions of dollars from the U.S. right away without hesitation. if we hesistate for a minute, they will hate us for it.
Americans need to help America first. We have soldiers fighting in Iraq without helmets or body armor or other necessary supplies. Their families have to spend hundreds of dollars just to buy them body armor and make sure their loved one is a little bit safer. And considering the average military family can barely make ends meet, its a very difficult task. We need to take care of our own before we can babysit everybody else.
I dont give a crap about the lebanese people, we have our own problems here at home

A man had a car and neighbors asked to go to the store. At the store, the neighbors said, "Move over, we're driving the car from here." The man feared the neighbors and moved out of the driver's seat. The neighbors then robbed the store and tried to speed away. The police in the store shot out a tire on the car to get it to stop. The neighbors then shot back at the police. The police shot out another tire. The neighbors tried to keep driving and shooting back at the police. The man's car is being wrecked and the neighbors aren't giving in. He is afraid, angry, hurt, and completely powerless. The man was just beginning to feel better after another neighbor had held him hostage in a complaint against the store but released him recently.
The man is Lebanon. The store is Israel. The neighbors in this fight are Palestinians led by a group called Hamas. The neighbors who had previously held him hostage was Syria.
Until the fight settles down, there is almost nothing we can do but wait.

Sell more arms to Israel. Get behind Israel. The whole Middle East is just waiting to pounce on Israel and destroy it and all the Jews. Israel HAS to defend itself. They are the ONLY democracy in that hell hole known as the Middle East.
It's the Lebanese that PUT Hezbollah there in the first place. I won't EVER forget the bombing of the Marine Barracks in Beirut.
Time to turn the Arab world into a big glass bowl and be done with it.

Well, keep helping with your donations, help the Red Cross, or Doctors Without Borders, or UNICEF do their job. I understand how you feel, you think that money is little help compared with all the work these people do. But you're wrong, they need money to accomplish their tasks, and you are making your contribution to them, so you are being of great help too. Don't be frustrated, you have a kind heart, you're doing the best you can, just keep on being the nice human being you are.

Support the fight against terrorism.
In the 1970's, Lebanon was destroyed by Yasser Arafat and his henchmen. Now it is being destroyed by Nasrallah.
I do feel sorry for the average Lebanese, who wants his country to achieve the level of greatness that it is capable of.
