I have two small dogs both terriers. One is an 8 month old westie and the other is a 3 month old carine. How do I know if they are just playing or really fighting. They growl and bite at each other is this normal for them. How long will this last and will they ever get along. What should do? Should I leave them fight it out or what? This has been going on constantly for about 2 or three weeks now, well ever since we brought the other dog home. He seems to be the more aggressive of the two. Help please! Serious answers only please. Anything anyone can tell me is helpful.

Don't worry for now. They are both trying to establish who is going to be Alpha dog. One will have to be a leader of the pack and the other will be a follower. This is natural in pack animals (which dogs are) Once this is established then things will calm down unless theres a mutiney.

I have two mini weiner dogs. We just got the little one 1 week ago. They do fight, but my other dog is 2 years old. They fight, and ive found out that it makes a better relationship between then. They sleep together, and still fight. so their basically just waisting time and having fun.

i think both of your dogs is not getting along with each other, maybe u can separate them and maybe after a period they will be used to each other existence.Dogs are like human, they will be jealous coz they know the owner will tend to like one over another,so be patient with the situation 1st
