If you're here on a Saturday, check out:

St. Lawrence Market (on Front St.) The north & south buildings are open to people who are interested in buying fresh produce & baked goods. There is a section where you can sit, have a cold drink & grab a bit to eat from the Market as well.
But note, both buildings are only open on Saturdays. Any other week, only one building is open.

Any other day, check out:

- Harbour Front.
Take a stroll, have a drink on the balcony, rollerblade

-Centre Island
Take the ferry to the island. It's a fast ride. You can swim over there, play beach volleyball, picnic, rent bikes...

-Chinatown
Even if you might not be interested in Chinese food or culture, it's pretty interesting to have a look

-AGO (Art Gallery of Ontario)
There is a special exhibition of Andy Warhol's works on display.

-Queen St
Fun, funky street with all sorts of fashion, music (MuchMusic is located here) and patio bars, coffee shops

-The Distillery District
Lots of small shops & artisans selling their stuff here...along with a gallery and restaurants

You know it might sound cheesy to do, but you can always try taking the "double decker" bus tour. It's a 2-hour ride that takes you around Toronto's "must see" places. You can jump off at any stops & jump back on within the same day as long as you have you have your ticket on hand. There is a booth just located outside the Union Station (near the clock) where you can purchase your tickets. Again, not sure if this is your thing, but it sure does beat walking around especially in the heat.

Hope you'll enjoy your visit to Toronto^^
