I don't know if you can ever completely get rid of it. My parents have it and have always had it. They have to use anti-dandruff shampoo all the time.
My kid has it too. We use Neutrogena T/Gel Overnight Dandruff Treatment a couple nights each week, along with Neutrogena T/Sal Shampoo a couple times a week. If we don't use it at least twice a week, the flakes return.

Selsum Blue shampoo or head and shoulders. But once you have no more dandruff you need to stop using the shampoo because it is very harsh on your scalp.
Also if you use condidtioner then you need to cut back on how much because build up from the conditioner will also give you flakes

use nizoral twice to tree times a week, or head and sholders. also if you have oil products especialy for hair, put some and your scalpe will be hydrated and not dry that causes dandruft
