i've seen units that cost about 40,000.00 USD.
(i donnot think this is very cost effective.)

You might try going to a marina that sells equipment for yachts. Those folks set up these little windmills to run their radios and recharge their batteries. If you set it up to drive battery powered stuff like TVs, laptops, and appliances for an RV, you can get by with a marine windmill to charge batteries that they run on.

If you've already done the search, all I can suggest is building your own from pieces. Propeller blade, generator, battery, inverter. The real cost is for high current. If you're willing to use smaller wattages, it'll work.

if your looking into self made power look into gyroscoptic's but i wouldn't try to patten it
