dunno, but i get headaches from pigeons. SO annoying.

Sounds fishy.
Seems to me that evolution would naturally breed that type of problem out, or the pigeons would build up some tolerance to the pain.
However, still sounds fishy. How could you tell if a pigeon has a headache, or for that matter the severity of it's headache?

Well, in humans, most headaches are caused by a contraction or retraction of the diameter of the blood vessels which results in a rapid change in blood pressure. Headaches can also be caused by head trauma or allergies.
Pigeons are not immune to any of these causes, so I would believe they have headaches exactly the same as humans. But I could be wrong, I'm not an ornithologist.

i'm sure they get headaches if they are hit in the head by something, but I have no idea about tension or stress type headaches

not technocally but they can get stressed and caused increase blood flow to the brain that can kill them
