As some one who has been forgiven, I would say yes...if we really loved each other and worked hard to rebuild trust. The world is full of gray areas. Sometimes black and white says NO WAY. sometimes gray would say " let's try to get through this together."

The question is CAN YOU LIVE WITH OUT THIS GF OR BF. if the answer is no, then forgive that person and look ahead not at the back. At the end of the day who knows the next person who comes along might be doing worse but maybe he or she knows how to hide it well.

No, while there may be reasons leading for up to sleeping with someone else, the forsaken-ness of our relationship isn't excusable. That hurts.
But I would still try to work things out and test the forgiveness part. I believe in theory, I wouldn't forgive.

Forgive ="I won't try to hurt you like you hurt me"
Forgive does not = "I'll forget it and let's go on like nothing happened"
The relationship it's pretty much like a person who is brain dead. Yes you can keep it alive but why?
If he did it once, we will most likely do it again. At least it's as bf (not a husband). Better to move on.

I would forgive, but probably end the relationship. Cheating is the cruelest betrayal and I would 't be able to trust them again.

I would forgive him but I would not forget what happened, nor would I trust him after that. As far as staying together goes, no way.

Well, I may forgive them eventually, but I would never trust them again, and I would break up with them.
