I like your thinking!
"True" or "Sincere" or "Honest" - make "Authentic"!
First of all. . .never let religion get in the way of your own spirituality.
Secondly. . .and what the various world traditions have taught us in history and experience. . .we need someone (or something) bigger and greater outside ourselves, in order to learn from or emulate. . .perhaps the two best known figures this way have been Jesus and Buddha. . .but there are others.
Thirdly. . .knowing the goal. . .so you can break out of the various illusions or traps. . .or the people (including so-called religious leaders) who may be distracting you this way. . .seeking and finding a deeply personal and appropriate, timely "Path". . .of Progress. . .for self-improvement. . .greater peace, happiness, success in what one dones for work and in life (not to be equated with making more money!). . .having friends, family, a companion, etc. . .with a deep and profound feeling and knowing of "Shalom" (look up the full meaning of this wonderful Hebrew word which means far more than "Peace").
Shalom to you in your journey!

Tell me, what gives you the right to make a blanket condemnation of most priests as hypocrites? Judge not lest you be judged.

I think spirituality is personal and there's no such thing as authentic spirituality. Authentical isn't a word.

Knowing Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior and loving obeying Him as God. "Thou shalt love the Lord, thy God, with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets." Matthew 22:37-40, The Holy Bible. If you could do this, you would be truly spiritual.

Spirituality comes from with-in ourselves, not a BOOK or a GOD.
NOT just ONE anyway.
Spirituality is whatever is true for you!
Not letting anyone change your values or your beliefs.
Our spirit is HUGE and does not fit into one category or body...let your spirit be free and open.
When you FORM it into ONE religion you can kill it!
You feed your spirit with more than religion.
Art, love, sex, life, knowledge...etc...

There is no 'authentical spirituality'. We make it up within ourselves.
