Absolutely not... men are not the greatest thing in the world, just as I am quite sure they think the same of us women.
It's nice to have a relationship with the opposite sex, however, there are so many obstacles that come into play that you either have to jump over, or take the fall. If you are lucky enough to have someone in your life that picks you up when you fall, appreciates you for who you are, not who they want you to be, doesn't treat you like a trophy and allows you to be independent, keep him. Until then, visit the adult store, stock up on your favorite toys and videos and enjoy yourself for who you are.
If you aren't comfortable with the above advice and are just lonely, get a dog. They are faithful, love you unconditionally, always have a kiss for you, never talk back and will always listen.

no depending having a boyfriend is not a must but it is truly great to have one not only for the sexual reasons that come to mind but having a person who can be a witness to another side of you someone you can relate your greatest fears to and you can count on sometimes don't get me wrong sometimes you can't depend on them but the joy of having some to share your life with but if you can live with out these things then no having a boyfriend is not necessary

Not at all, but they can be nice to have around at times! It all depends on if you've found the particular person to be a boyfriend - you shouldn't have a boyfriend just so that you're not single anymore. But if you found that person, it's one of the best things.
