Take an elderly woman, living in a run down house, with garbage and cats everywhere. She never bothers anyone and sits in her porch all day just looking at the sky. She always seems to recite bible verses to herself, and although a lot of the neighborhood kids break in to her house, steal from her and call her names, she never presses charges, she just goes about her business. Is she crazy or does she have a deeper understanding towards the love and acceptance of christ and god?

She is an Elderly woman that is being abused by her neighbors and you should report those dirty rats to the police that are treating her this way. Sometimes you need to be your brothers keeper in cases like this. What has this old lady done to these people other then live and let live. Crazy is a relative term. if she is not a danger to herself or others then there are no laws against being nuts however there are laws against people doing what they are to her and you have a moral and civic obligation if nothing else to report it to the police if you know about it.
If you are so curious about this Lady why don't you go talk to her and find out more about her. Maybe she isn't crazy at all.

Sounds like a slightly demented LOVELY old lady to me.
Her sanitation will be our problem when her disease is brought in to the local hospital.. I hope you are ready to pay her bills.
The creeps are having a ball stealing form her and not having to suffer any consequences. You like that?
One can have a VERY VERY deep understanding of the love of THE GOD without being a bit of a strange recluse.

She is old, senile, probably can't afford a gun or a phone to call 911. When you get that old, you get a mind like a child, and turn to the joke called religion. She probably has such bad health, and so little energy, that taking action would kill her. Yes she is crazy, look at all of the good religion has done her, what incentive.

Crazy to allow kids to break into her house....and...
.....crazy to keep allowing it.
This shows absolutely no religious behavior whatsoever.
Reciting bible verses to yourself means, what....that you can hear yourself reciting bible verses.
I'd have to say the woman is a bit off.

why is it because a person is diffrent they say the person has to be mad i think it is a sad life that people need to act the same as every one Else
so she likes cats and seems to keep her self to her self OK it may be a bit stinky were she lives but hay she is not hurting no one
i don't no if she has a deeper meaning to her life mind you yeah she more than lightly has
plus she more than lightly loves her life more than most humans

Not my placeto judge why this woman does as she does or what her state of mind is. There may be (and probably most certainly are) circumstances that you aren't aware of pertaining to this situaton. Just say a prayer for the Lord to bless her.

Someone that has the true love of God does not live in filth and has a healthy self-esteem as to not let people walk all over them.

The odds are good that she is mentally ill, however she seems pretty content with her life and probably does have an understanding of God and love that most of us never attain :)

again, how can a non-educated (in that field) determine "crazy"?
you cannot, with any authority or knowlege of the situation.
again, i would say that she has some deeper issues, that transcend our ability understand why she is like this. maybe she is terminal and knows her days are short and she wishes to join her loved ones in paradise.

She is not crazy. She is good, old and lonely lady. She is incapable of cleaning her surroundings, needs some company, that's why she doesn't mind the kids doing and saying what they do, coz she wants them around her.
