Locked in a closet at home where neither mommy nor daddy can touch them inappropriately....
What are you getting at? that churches are still safer because they sexually molest LESS children than the general population?? Yeah, thats a great reason to ship your kids off to Christian summer camp....

I think that is an unfair comparison. Of COURSE it's going to be lower in church schools. There are less church schools than public schools - any day! The problem is that we're not taking the proper accountability as parents to PREVENT the problem. Therein lies the downfall of the two - income households....

With gay parents. Straight parents are much more likely to molest or kill their kids than gay parents. They are also (somewhat) less likely to hand their kids off to some stranger just because the person is part of a church.

Statistics are just numbers. Children today are prey to many pedofiles in this world. Keep your children close to you as best as you can. The best way to keep your children safe today in this sick and twisted world, is never to have any.

risk-free practices relies in know-how. If young ones understand what form of issues (like invites from digital strangers to fulfill for a face-to-face) are risky, then there's a extra desirable margin of risk-free practices. tutor your infants!

i dont doubt that it is higher at one time or another for any one group. that is because when this thing is made public, there is a "sweeping" of that segment of the clergy.
therefore, what looks like a "lull" in abuse, may just not be made public because of one factor or another.
