hmmm... I do not judge people regardless of what they are or are not. I would not assume he will go to heaven because you never really know someone elses heart. That is between him and god. I would not consider him crazy and do not like that word. BUt jesus himself has dressed in rags and looked for kindness.

Good question, not necessarily crazy but possible needing some help. His bible is probably all he's got and some people don't want to change, there are all types of programs out here to help but it pleases them more to stand in a corner and whisper.

This man is consumed by his love for God. He is not a crazya nd defnitely not a liar . Obsession of any kind or staunch belief in anythign will only lead to a person being away from reality. What might seam as the luxuries of the world to us might be just materialistic things to him/her. He is happy the way he is and if there is a God and heaven then he will definitely go there.

I'd look beyond the persons dress and not judge him at all. I'd speak to him and smile and ask if I could help in any way with food or anything else. I applaude the answer from the person who would take him home. My not judging him as crazy would also not judge as to the state of his heart and soul. Only God knows and God can use anybody to speak His word.

Never find someone crazy for wanting to spread the word of God. People who take the time to spread the word should be given respect no matter what they may look or smell like, or what they may wear.
It's the intention of someone that should be considered and valued.

pretty much a lost person, but not necessarily a lost soul.
in most cases i would avoid such a person, if i had my wife and/or children with me. i would not want him to turn violent with them in harm's way.
that said, my children and i routinely make sandwiches and take them and sample sized toothpaste and toothbrushes to the truly homeless in our city.
we have sat down and had lunch with them and when i have free coupons for pizza, sub sandwiches or whatever, i give them away to those who seem to need them more than i do.
as a soldier, staff sergeant, in the army, i dont make a fortune by any means. but the Lord has blessed me with a roof for my family'; groceries in the fridge and cabinet and enough money left over each month to take in a movie or two and allow my kids to hange at the mall, etc.
it becomes a matter of not judging the book by the cover.

I'm betting since you posted this here, you will get a lot of "Nice" answers... people wanting to help the person. Yet, if they actually walked by him, chances are they'd avoid him because he would appear to be crazy. (This guy sounds a lot like an old man that screams "The End Is Coming" at everyone)

Unfortunately that is the oldest scam around. He is using his appearance and the bible to cheat people into thinking his is homeless, and has a mansion somewhere. I went thorugh seeing those people in Fla on the corners, and most of them were busted for fraud.

I know that we are ALL connected to each other through the vibrations we emit to and receive from the universe. We live with the illusion that we are separate, but we are all connected through source energy. When you hurt another person, you hurt yourself. We are each an individuation of our source creator. All connected. Together we form the body of God. When you hurt another, you hurt God. We all return to the source, after the death of this physical incarnation. That man is no different, better or worse than the monetarily richest man in the world. He is probably more in tune with the source. He may be richer, spiritually, than all of us. He raises the collective consciousness of humanity with the richness of his divinity.

yes- The Bible says to feed those that are hungry and clean those that are dirty. So, to see him and continue walking would be wrong.
Just because he has nothing doesn't mean he knows nothing.
He could be very much a Christian. But remember just because he is homeless doesn't mean God forgot about him. You have to help yourself in order to get help.
