You don't mention which dye you used, but it sounds like it might be a temporary dye that will wash out in a month. If so, then you just need to put on a deep conditioning hair masque and it will pull out a lot of the dye.
If you want to play around with your hair without damaging it (regardless of what kind of dye you used), the temporary hair dyes are a good place to start. Wash in a golden light brown and it'll cut the brassiness of the other dye you used and keep you from looking funky.
Please don't try highlights and lowlights over a color you don't like. You can come up with something horrible that will be nearly impossible to correct. First fix the base color. Let the rest follow later.

for one thing when you use over the counter hair dye on the side of the box is a panel it shows several drifferent colors of your natural hair and the hair color you picked what the results should look like you also should have done a strand test this is where you take a piece of your own hair put a little of the color on the strand of hair to see after waiting so many minutes what the color results are. the best thing to do is wait till the color fades trying to dye it dark blonde there maybe to much brown in your hair for the dark blonde to take..

Red is the strongest color pigment, meaning it's the hardest to get out of your hair. There's something called a drabber that is sold at beauty supply shops such as Sally's that will get the red out of your hair. It's pretty inexpensive. Then wait a week or two so your hair can regain its health before you try dying it back to your natural blonde. But keep in mind red and blonde hair dyes can go wrong very easily!!!! Good luck!

Well it's best to wait till you can afford to do it professionally but if you really dont want to wait look on the hair dye's box. They usually have a hotline or website you can go to where you can ask color specialists that deal with that exact brand that can give you advice on what to do. Last time I dyed my hair red and had a problem with the results I used a hair dye stripping kit but I wouldnt recommend it to everyone because I ended up getting burns on my scalp. Your best bet is to talk to the color specialist first or wait to go to a hairdresser.

Throw in some lowlights a shade darker then the color you have in your hair. They run $10 or so and usually mask most mistakes :) You can do them yourself at home ...
They fade in the sun, but they're cheap enough to redo quickly and don't damange your hair as much since there is no bleach in them

She "hid" till it grew out and then went back to medium brown. some years in the past I talked her into attempting auburn. She did no longer like the dark aubern nor the easy --she went with medium auburn-- it is dazzling! --I inform you this to point out yet another significant element--despite coloration you establish on PLEASE make useful IT suits YOUR pores and skin TONE! you will sense sorry approximately it in any different case!. to tell you authentic, the image you confirmed could make ANY blonde or perhaps maximum fashions blush with envy! i replace into no longer blessed with "sturdy seems"--(even although ANY authentic guy will look at a woman for her BRAINS AND HER coronary heart! in the event that they are able to't settle for hat then they do no longer seem to be sturdy adequate for you! sturdy success and God bless whichever determination you're making.!

Dye it darker and then leave it alone. nice brow would be ok. It would even out the strange colors you have now.

Ok...you can shave your hair if you no longer like the color or better still cut off your head if no longer like your hair!
The choice is yours
