Tea has a high caffine count, and also, drinking up to four cups a day will expand your blood vessels. More blood flow means less yawning (the oxygen will reach your brain more easily - a yawn is just your body's way of saying not enough oxygen is getting to your grey-matter), and more comfort while sitting for extended periods of time, since your legs aren't as likely to fall asleep.

Try carbohydrates, like fruits and vegetables, and pastas. An hour after eating them, your energy level will spike - but be careful! Half an hour after your energy spike, you'll have a crash!

There's tons of energy drinks out there, although their effectiveness will wear down if you abuse them (I used to work third shift at a gas station and drink one of every energy drink they had... about 5 every night and still fell asleep). Orange Juice is a good source of energy. Trail Mix is also a good source of energy.

green tea has a lot of caffein and is a fabulous antioxigent.
however, any kind of 'upper' will let you crash eventually.
be reasonable! yeah, stay awake to study etc. but work?
please get your body into a rythm that allows you sufficient sleep.

Drinking water will keep you awake. It has no Caffeine, but for some reason it will kepp you up.
