What was the place you got the worse food from? (resteraunt fast food or variety/general store) What was the food? Why was it so bad?

It either Hardees where I got petrified burgers. They had been cooked sometime in the morning and they served them to me for dinner. Or a convenience store with some out of date balance bars, those things are nasty when they are in date. Both foods were so hard I nearly broke a tooth.

My family and I lived on the island of Okinawa, Japan from 85-88. I have always loved Mexican food and especially, Taco Bell. As you might imagine, Mexican food is scarce on that little Japanese island but I found a little place one day just outside the back gate to the Air Force Base there. It looked a lot like a Taco Bell so I ventured in.
I ordered a combo plate which included (according to the menu) re-fried beans. When I got my lunch the beans were purple! I mean REALLY purple, like Barney. They tasted awful!
I threw the lunch away and never went back.
When we got back home the first place I went was to Taco Bell and ordered one of everything on the menu. YUMMY!!

The worst food poisoning I ever got was from airplane food when I was young. To this day, I will not eat on airplanes. It ruined two days of my vacation.

Lions Choice! I got fries and they were soooo bad.It tasted like they had been sitting in REALLY old oil and then fried again in the same oil.

colton's steak house-hamburger was so bad i went a second time thinking no restaurant could be this bad. i was wrong. i ordered a steak and bake potato. terrible! how can someone make a bake potato taste bad? they did it!

it was in an Chinese restaurant run by Mexicans in Albuquerque NM...in a Mexican neighborhood...it was slimy..tasted more like chimey-changa...we were tiered and it was late...we just came back from Mexico...going back to Denver CO
