Go out into a field and dig a hole, say a prayer and throw me in it. Then have a gathering with food and whatnot remembering how much you loved me and how jealous you are that I'm having the time of my life in heaven. I think the whole burial thing is a waste of money...at least for me it is. I respect others wishes for the whole $10,000 coffin and service (not to mention the burial plot and marker) but, all I'm gonna do is rot back to dust...so just hurry up the process and save your money.

Because Jesus was burried and not cremated, I will be burried. If is was what He did, than I will be done that same way. When I read of people's bodies being burned in the bible, it always seemed that they were unrightous people according to the word of God. So I vote no for creamation.

nicely, right it is a guideline- My super grandparents had a displaying etc then have been cremated for burial. i'm favoring cremation individually. Who needs to be sure a waxed up over made up version of the guy they knew- i could particularly bear in mind them in any different case. I genuinely have seen captivating image collages carried out at funerals for the two displaying and non showings. no longer which you somewhat want to disillusioned your mom, in spite of the shown fact that it is your determination. out of your published question it seems which you have gotten a foul diagnosis - I wish you plenty happiness and peace.

Something icks me out about burial. I prefer a method that makes the statement that my body is not ME, you know? That's why I prefer cremation. I always found it weird when people visit gravesites of loved ones when they're not really THERE.

When we view al the historical programs on the tube, do we not ever think about all the ancients that thought they were being interned for ever and now find their bodies bbeing displayed in museum for ever one to see.

I vote for cremation. It is cheaper that a burial and nobody is going to dig you up and relocate your remains to make room for a new hiway.

I would say burial but realistically speaking , many people choose to be cremated to simplify their death and because its far less expensive. Many may feel that they dont want to leave the burdon of funeral arrangements and funeral costs on to their loved ones.

Burial. I like the idea of my body slowly returning to the earth. It seems more natural, like how it happens in the wild all the time.

Cremation. There are already too many bodies taking up space in the ground.
