I'm not Muslim. But I now how I feel about Jesus Christ . So may be they feel that love for their God. Why do they kill others? that is a good question. My God is the judge, and People need to let Him be that judge and let him give the punishment to his people. I wish that the Muslim would do that.

I don't believe that anyone but radical Muslims believe that killing others is a way of spreading their faith. As for forcing the religion on others, most religions have a history somewhere of attempting to do this to another group.
I also believe that all religious writings, weather they be the Torah, Q'ran, or the Bible, are instruments of faith. Although those intstruments may have been dictated by God, they were interpreted by man and then written by man. I think that man's interpretation of what a god may have spoken can create an entirely different meaning than what was originaly intended.

Yes very true. Following is the brief answers to all your questions.
2:120 Never will the Jews or the Christians be satisfied with thee unless thou follow their form of religion. Say: "The Guidance of Allah,-that is the (only) Guidance." Wert thou to follow their desires after the knowledge which hath reached thee, then wouldst thou find neither Protector nor helper against Allah.
The Christians and Jews will never be statisfied with Muslims because their desire is to force their religious beliefs onto to muslims.
2:135 They say: "Become Jews or Christians if ye would be guided (To salvation)." Say thou: "Nay! (I would rather) the Religion of Abraham the True, and he joined not gods with Allah."
This verse is another example of Christians and Jews which is very much refelected on Yahoo answers. Muslims aviod to criticise their religious beliefs its Christians and Jews who are busy creating hatred against muslims and most the of the answer infact has the same wording to accept Jesus (PBUH) as son of God for salvation.
5:14 From those, too, who call themselves Christians, We did take a covenant, but they forgot a good part of the message that was sent them: so we estranged them, with enmity and hatred between the one and the other, to the day of judgment. And soon will Allah show them what it is they have done.
5:51 O ye who believe! take not the Jews and the Christians for your friends and protectors: They are but friends and protectors to each other. And he amongst you that turns to them (for friendship) is of them. Verily Allah guideth not a people unjust.
Be fare in your judgement and look at the present Isreal and Palestine situation. Are not Christians and Jews protecting each other against Muslims? They justify all the atrocities committed by Jews and try to justify it. This is very true they are protectors of each other against Islam.
5:82 Strongest among men in enmity to the believers wilt thou find the Jews and Pagans; and nearest among them in love to the believers wilt thou find those who say, "We are Christians": because amongst these are men devoted to learning and men who have renounced the world, and they are not arrogant.
This is another verse which you might find in Qur'an you did not able to find it but maybe someone will bring it against Islam and Muslims. Jews and Pagans are the enemy of muslims where as Christians are called nearest to muslims. This again is very true. There are good Chrisitians who do support the muslims and are not the enemy of Islam.

Do you remember the Crusades, or the Spanish Inquisition where the Christians killed innocent people for their religion? I wouldn't pick on a religious group without more knowledge.

it is not true. first and foremost, islam does not preach violence. its essentially a peaceful religion that looks down on aggression for the most part. especially killing. in islam, its wrong to even kill a fly or an ant, because all life should be appreciated. the only killing allowed is in defence of islam against aggressors. terrorists are not justified, they just use misinterpretations to help their cause. that being said, you should actually understand the religion before spreading false claims about it. what does your religion say about spreading rumors and gossiping and things of that nature? islam forbids that too.

The Qur’an does not tell Muslims not to take Jews and Christians as friends. The word used in the Qur’an is awliyaa’, which means “overlords” or “protectors,” not mere friends. If we look at the verses that deal with this injunction, we will notice that they always refer to negative situations. For example, in Al-Ma’idah 5:57-58, the context refers to those who mock you as Muslims when you call for Prayers. Would any sane person of any religion take as their defender one who mocks them in this way? It is not appropriate to view these verses in isolation, since there are many verses that teach how peaceful relationships should be developed with non-Muslims.
The Qur’an accords the People of the Book (Jews and Christians) a special position. The very term to designate them distinguishes them from others such as idolatrous Arabs (Al-Bayyinah 98:1). It is a complimentary title as it acknowledges that, like Muslims, their faiths are based on revealed books or scriptures. In its family and dietary laws, the Qur’an gives a special consideration to the People of the Book. For example, a Muslim male may marry a believing Jewish or Christian woman (Al-Ma’idah 5:5). The Qur’an exhorts Muslims to engage in peaceful dialogue with Jews and Christians:
[And do not argue with the People of Book except in a most kindly manner, except for those of them who are bent on evildoing, and say: “We believe in the revelation which has come down to us and in that which has come down to you; our Lord and yours is One and it is to Him that we (all) submit ourselves.”] (Al-`Ankabut 29:46)
[Say (O Muslims), O People of the Book! Come to a common term which we and you hold in common: that we shall worship none but Allah, and that we shall not ascribe divinity to none beside Him, and that we shall not take human beings for our lord beside Allah, and if they turn away, then say: bear witness that we submit ourselves unto Him.] (Aal `Imran 3:64)
peace unto you

You are correct, but you will be called a "racist" for bringing up, or told you are a hate monger who doesnt understand islam. I have just stopped asking questions about it becuase how people respond, I have decided it is simply to devisive and angry for me.
Not very diffrent from historical Christianity tho, sadly.

I do not see where it says to kill Jews and Christians. can you enlighten me?
Sura 48
To thee We sent the Scripture in truth confirming the scripture that came before it and guarding it in safety; so judge between them by what Allah hath revealed and follow not their vain desires diverging from the truth that hath come to thee. To each among you have We prescribed a Law and an Open Way. If Allah had so willed He would have made you a single people but (His plan is) to test you in what He hath given you: so strive as in a race in all virtues. The goal of you all is to Allah; it is He that will show you the truth of the matters in which ye dispute.
49
And this (He commands): Judge thou between them by what Allah hath revealed and follow not their vain desires but beware of them lest they beguile thee from any of that (teaching) which Allah hath sent down to thee. And if they turn away be assured that for some of their crimes it is Allah's purpose to punish them. And truly most men are rebellious.
50
Do they then seek after a judgment of (the Days of) Ignorance? But who for a people whose faith is assured can give better judgment than Allah?
51
O ye who believe! take not the Jews and the Christians for your friends and protectors: they are but friends and protectors to each other. And he amongst you that turns to them (for friendship) is of them. Verily Allah guideth not a people unjust.
52
Those in whose heart is a disease thou seest how eagerly they run about amongst them saying: "We do fear lest a change of fortune bring us disaster." Ah! perhaps Allah will give (thee) victory or a decision according to His Will. Then will they repent of the thoughts which they secretly harbored in their hearts.
53
And those who believe will say: "Are these the men who swore their strongest oaths by Allah that they were with you?" All that they do will be in vain and they will fall into (nothing but) ruin.
54
O ye who believe! if any from among you turn back from his faith soon will Allah produce a people whom He will love as they will love Him lowly with the believers mighty against the rejecters fighting in the way of Allah and never afraid of the reproaches of such as find fault. That is the Grace of Allah which He will bestow on whom He pleaseth: and Allah encompasseth all and He knoweth all things.

because that is the only conversion plan the muslim prophet could come up with. Convert or we chop your head off. It seems to work. Doesn't make people happy though.
