OK...congradulations on wanting to get to know the lady! Take her to lunch the first time...some place casual. You meet there (don't pick her up this time) then you both have the option of leaving whenever you want. You get to talk for at least an hour and get a real "feel" for each other and there is no pressure on her or on you. Either one of you might decide that it's not as you thought it would be. Anyway, at the end of the luncheon if you still are wanting to date her, ask her if she would consider going out on a date and where would she like to go? It's hard doing the "full date thing" the first time because you're both uptight. This way, there is a time limit and you can really talk and focus on each other. You pick up the tab, of course and leave a generous tip...women watch that. When she says "yes" (and she probably will) to your real date, you already have the basic stuff covered; mind your manners and don't be pushy. Then you can pick her up at her place. Good luck, Dude. anyplace wher you know its quiet and you wont get interrupted. And try not to answer your cell phone if you have one. She should get all the attention that day. Take a walk at a park late inthe evening where there is not much kids and people. Try a nice quiet romatic restaurant. I dont know where you live but look for those unique and quiet places. Like something that overlooks the city. That will make her date more memorable with you. Take some roses if she does not yet know you like a relationship with her make it another color not red. If she knows then red it is. Be unique man. Something none of the other man she dated ever did for her. Romantic is the word here. Be a gentleman.

I'm not a chick, but I can give you some advice. NO DINNER AND A MOVIE. Take her to the Ice Cream shop for some ice cream, get to know her a little bit. DON"T TALK TOO MUCH. Let her do the talking. Just listen and every once in a while say something. After the ice cream shop. if you live near a beach do that. Walk on the beach and chill. If you don't live on the beach, goto the park and chill. Don't ask her what she want to do. Take CHARGE. Women love when you set something up good.
