I'm a competitive swimmer who waxes. Why is it that after I get my back waxed, pimples show up there?

Also, does waxing hurt more or less after the first time. Any pain killer medicine recommendations for waxing?

More than likely the pimples are the result of blocked follicles where the coarser back hair tries to grow back in & gets trapped under the skin. You probably need to exfoliate or get a good bath brush & scrub your back good to prevent this in the future.
