Well, first off, I believe in God, the Bible and the book of Revelation (no s). Second, prophecy is never deciphered before the events, its always deciphered after.
Israel has always been involved in wars. I am sure for years to come they will be involved in more and more conflicts, as that entire region is one hot bed of aggression.
You have to look at the situation. You have two unique religions that both stem from the same roots, vying for the same lands, with different outlooks. There is bound to be conflict.
No one can truly say, before or during an event "This was prophesied by the book of Revelation." you can not do it.
The only thing you can do is watch, be mindful and pray.

The US is at war, did your holy book predict that too? Israel is at war because by creating a Jewish country they kicked out a lot of Arab Muslims who were already there. Religion is the main cause of war, and just because the men that wrote the bible knew this means nothing. The bible also says to stone your children when they don't obey you, but I'm pretty sure you don't believe that too.

Just ask yourself one simple question: Is it possible that the conflict in the Middle East could have occurred anyway, regardless of what's written in the Bible? Clearly, it is. Conflict happens all the time, all over the world, whether it's 'prophesied' in a holy book or not. Hence whatever you think is in the Bible that relates to the Middle East conflict is of no significance at all, and it certainly isn't going to make rational people think "Oh my goodness the Christian god must be real!"

Israel has been at war numerous times in it's existence, it has been at war five times since 1948, why is this war any different than the others?
It just means it's a part of the world where people have extreme views and hate someone who is of a different faith than them.
There are many other wars happening right now in the world for the very same reasons, in places like Africa, South America, Kashmir.

Isreal has been at war for eons. What makes you think it's reffering to this war and not a war in the part - or even (cue the spooky music) the future?!
I don't have to believe in god or the bible to believe there's a war going on. Just watch CNN.

OK. Religion. That is why they are at war. All mid east religions hate the Jews. Israel has been pushed around looking for a place to call home for thousands of years, and they do not want to give up any more land.
Now, what does that have to do with believing or not?

Because Muslims don't like the fact that Israel was made a Jewish state. They feel they have claim to that land and feel that they have to hate Jews and start wars to attempt to get it back. It has NOTHING to do with the bible.
