As a firstborn with a sister 17 months younger and a brother 4 years younger, I would have to say that I love my siblings dearly and I would not trade them for anything in this world. We know each other better than anyone outside the family- you can't share a 10x8 bedroom with your sister for 18 years and not know everything about the other person. We're best friends now- we had our ups and downs growing up, but as adults the three of us have a hilarious time together with our respective spouse/significant others. They are the greatest blessing I have, and I cannot imagine my life without them.

I would rather haver have sisters and brothers. Probably more brothers than sisters though. Sisters just teach you how to dress and put make-up on Brothers teach you how to fight and do other sports. It would be boring being the only child: even if all the attention, from your parents, was on you.

Well, im technically an only child. I have old bro and sis,but never lived with them. And being an only child, its BORING! You don't have anyone to talk to and hang out. I saw how my friend had a younger sis and bro and I always wished I could have that. I actually always wanted a brother about 3 years older than me, lol He could have brought his hot friends over, lol. A girl can dream.
But always wanted an oler brother that lived with me. Plus, I would see my friend fight with her siblings, and I loved it. I wish I had that. Looked like a lot of fun!

I had a younger brother and sister. I wouldn't have changed it one bit. My husband has 4 brothers and 5 sisters and he said he had a ball. You always have someone to talk to, to play with, get in trouble with, ask questions to, fight with, share with, learn with.... I could go on forever! Basically, you will never feel alone, especially when your parents die and you haven't married or had kids. You really need support and advise and your brothers and sisters will always be there for you through thick and thin.

I am an only child and i think i would like to have the companionship of a sibling, but if i had a sibling, i would probably want to ba an only child because i\I would like to see how life would be on the "other side of the spectrum".

i have a brother and i honestly thank god for my brother everyday of my life. i think that if i was an only child, yes i would've received more things growing up but growing up with my brother i received something that currency could never purchase, i received a playmate, a friend for life. when i'm mad at the world or mad at my friends my brother gives me advice and i feel so much better but don't get me wrong we have our ups and downs but that is with every relationship.
