They take corn for example and grind them up. They then press to get all the liguid out of it. They put it in a giant centifuse and the oil seperated from the water and other stuff. They put in some chemicals to ease the processs.
The oil is then cooked to boil off any water and cook anything else in there. It is filtered a bunch of times and then bottled

there is, of course, a little more to it. most vegetables have some oil and if you crush and sqeeze you get out a liquid that contains vegetable oil, and water, and solid contaminant, etc
then you separate and clean up the oil and stick it in a bottle or sell it to the margarine manufacture or into one of the many many product manufactures that uses vegetable oil

I think they just squeeze the oil out of whatever vegetable or nut is on the lable...peanut oil is from peanuts...sunflower oil from sunflower seeds...corn oil is from corn... Canola from canola seed. Vegetable oil is a mixture of different vegetarian oils like the abovementioned...whatever is cheapest on the market goes into those bottles.
